Tried searching the forums but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

So the passenger side low beam and high beam headlights aren't working. I know the bulbs are not the issue, so I'm trying to figure out what to do next, thanks!

Look in the owners manual for the Fuses/relay diagrams.. the headlights individually may use separate fuses/relays and one maybe bad. Am at work and cant pull my owners manual but that would be a good place to start.

No fuse aside from the BCM mega fuse, which would affect more than just one headlamp, fuse 74 is the high beam, but for both sides, The power to the headlamps is controlled by the BCM. Sounds like either the bulbs or the wiring to the right lamp. The BCM does split the circuits to either headlamp, so it is possible there's a fault there as well.
How do you know it is not the bulbs? Did you swap with a fresh set? The BCM may also shut down the lamp circuit if there was a fault, and may keep that circuit from re-energizing, so you should make sure there aren't any DTCs related to the lamps.
Keep in mind, that the BCM monitors differences between the two lamps, so if one bulb is not performing the same as the other, it may still fault.
Its not your father's Ford anymore.
Good luck!

atlcarl69 covered it mighty well.

One thought .... since you seem convinced it isn't the bulbs, I'm guessing you had 'em in and out checking. Debris/moisture/failure to snap them 'fully home' in the connector at the bulb (or anywhere else in the harness) can cause the kind of 'fault' atlcarl69 described. You might want to check that as an easy first trouble-shooting step.

If you go to an 'Auto Zone' or similar they will usually scan your car for DTC's (fault codes) as a free service. DO NOT LET THEM "CLEAR" THE CODES WHEN THEY READ THEM.

Write down the codes and post them here, we may be able to get you closer to knowing the problem.

I am having the same issue in my 2007 Ford Edge, checked/replaced bulb, checked and swapped fuse in driver side door, and seems to be no relay for the passenger side headlight after checking relay diagrams in the given ford manual. Need wiring diagram and check ground and power wires seperately seem to be next...?

Have not figured this out yet...checked fuse 7 and 8 just for good measure and both fine...electrical diagram shows FET(field effect transistor) controlling the circuit for the passenger/right side low beam. Anyone know where this transistor is located...

I did check ground wire and it is fine...the problem lies in the positive side between the fuse and the headlight. Circuit tester from positive battery to ground shows good. Ground to positive side shows nada....both fuse 7 and 8 show good with circuit tester...

If both low and high beam not working only common thing to both is the ground wire....see diagram...verify by connecting circuit tester from positive battery terminal to ground wire in the plug once disconnected from the headlight bulb on that side....you could check yourself by checking the ground wire on the other working headlight.

If you haven't tries this already, humor me and try unplugging the headlamp harness plug and plugging it back in. I had this happen on my driver side headlamp and with a little unplug, replug, all has been good since.
Turned out it was just a bad connection, surprising since the plug is designed to prevent this exact thing...

OK so I am a Technician not the owner of the vehicle and I am lost. I have tried everything I can think of and pretty much everything recommended in this forum. I have tested power and ground to the head light socket and both are working. I have tried 3 different bulbs and all 3 work in the driver side but not the passenger side. I have unplugged the headlamp assembly and plugged it back in. nothing is working I am completely lost as to what is wrong. the ford dealership in my town has told the customer to replace the whole headlamp assembly that is a very expensive fix to attempt and be wrong so before they try this they asked if I can help, So I am asking any of you kind folk if you have come across this issue and how you fixed it? PLEASE HELP

Did anyone check the ground behind the passenger fender splash guard? Mine had the bolt almost ready to fall out and it really messed with my passenger side lights and horn.

I have same issue and had assembly replaced 6 months ago, just to have it recently start up again.

However, this time, there's no code or warning popping up when I start car which has me puzzled.

Welcome to the forum. The post above yours would be worth checking- I've heard of issues with that earth at least twice.
